LA3C supports the next generations of creative talent in Los Angeles through key partnerships with nonprofit arts organizations who are committed to championing creative expression and equitable opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds.

Film Independent
Film Independent’s mission is to champion creative independence in visual storytelling and support a community of artists who embody diversity, innovation and uniqueness of vision. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023, Film Independent’s Project Involve has been a leader in the ongoing fight to build a more inclusive and equitable industry by supporting emerging filmmakers from communities underrepresented in film and entertainment. This robust program provides invaluable hands-on filmmaking experience from inception to completion. Participants are paired with mentors at the top of their respective fields and receive personalized guidance to help move their projects and careers forward.

Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA)
HOLA helps young people overcome barriers through exceptional, free, integrated programs and personalized guidance in a trusted, nurturing environment (serving 3,100 youth per year). Arts education is often the first program cut when school resources are low. At HOLA, students and families have a myriad of arts-based learning options to choose from. YOLA (The Youth Orchestra LA) at HOLA created in partnership with the Los Angeles Philharmonic prepares young musicians to perform in venues across the world. In 2021, HOLA launched its Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra which unites multigenerational musicians from multicultural backgrounds to share music through professional community concerts. HOLA’s Visual Arts Program, with sites in Central and South Central Los Angeles, provides daily innovative arts programming and is designed and delivered by established and emerging artists.

GLAAD
As a dynamic media force, GLAAD ensures fair, accurate, and inclusive representation that rewrites the script for LGBTQ acceptance. GLAAD tackles tough issues to shape the narrative and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change. GLAAD protects all that has been accomplished and envisions a world with 100% LGBTQ acceptance.
